T

he owners of three different gambling facilities have filed WARN Notices with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development announcing their respective furlough measures, which involved around nearly 4,000 workers.

According to all three notices, the furloughs are expected to be temporary, but could become permanent depending on the extent of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown, the Indy Channel reports.

Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing and Casino owner Hoosier Park, LLC filed a WARN Notice with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development on April 29 citing that they had furloughed 998 employees at their casino in Anderson beginning March 16.
