As live poker starts to come back the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa showed what live poker may look like for a while when it reopened last night.
The poker room ran at 50% capacity with plexiglass dividing the players at six max tables. Masks were worn by all players and staff, with cards and chips cleaned regularly.
Talk Show Host Andy Slater posted this image on Twitter, saying that two hours after opening 18 tables will full and 106 players were on the waiting list:

One thing we haven’t seen yet but has been speculated a lot was thermal imaging scanners, which are there to see if anybody had a high temperature before walking into the casino. Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 would be asked to take a second reading and possibly asked to leave.

While individual card rooms may vary on whether plexiglass or masks are needed at the tables, one thing which is abundantly clear is that regular cleaning of playing areas, cards and chips are going to be absolutely mandatory, given how easily germs are spread via the hands.
Good. Clean. Fun. 🤘💜
