- Read below for analysis and our best bet for this game
It might be a bit early to call Monday Night Football the “Game Of The Year” but it definitely has that feel to it. The general consensus in the early going is that either the Kansas City Chiefs or the Baltimore Ravens will win the AFC, and those are the two teams we’ll see square off in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium at 8:15 PM EST.
The Ravens are small home favorites in this spot but what’s the best bet for this game? Let’s take a closer look.

Chiefs Nearly Lost To Chargers Last Week
One of the reasons why we see the Chiefs vs Ravens odds where they are is because of how the Chiefs played last week. One week after dismantling the Houston Texans in their opener, the Chiefs were quite lucky to leave Los Angeles with a win over the Chargers.
The Chargers were forced into starting rookie quarterback Justin Herbert when veteran starter Tyrod Taylor was a last-minute scratch. Herbert carved up the Chiefs, going 22-of-33 for 311 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The Chargers piled up 183 rushing yards.

Kansas City’s defense couldn’t get off the field, allowing the Chargers to go 6-of-13 on third downs. As a result, they lost the time of possession battle 39:27-28:38. If that’s the Chiefs defense that shows up this week, they are going to give up at least 30 to the Ravens explosive offense.
Ravens Have Been On Cruise Control So Far
The Ravens have faced a couple of mid-range AFC opponents so far and they’ve cut through them with no problem. One week after dusting the Cleveland Browns 38-6, the Ravens went on the road and smoked the Houston Texans 33-16. They’ve barely broken a sweat.

The Ravens entered Week 3 averaging the third-most points per game in the NFL (35.5) while ranking fourth in rushing yards per game (170.5). The defense has also stood tall as this unit ranked third overall after Week 2 and led the league in points allowed per game (11.0).
What’s The Best Bet?
It looks like we have two stellar offenses here but the Ravens have the better defense and home-field advantage. That’s a big reason why they are favored in this spot. At the same time, it’s tough to see how either defense really get a lot of stops in this game.

The Ravens defense has looked good through two weeks but the Chiefs should be able to score at least a few touchdowns on them. As for Baltimore, they’ve been scoring in the 30’s and now face a defense that’s giving up 4.6 yards per carry and 150.5 rushing yards per game.
A lot of value has been sucked out of this total as it opened at 52 and is now sitting at 55. However, that’s the play here. Both teams are going to be moving the ball up and down the field, and we’ll see at least 56 points in this one. Bet the over.
