Newest Las Vegas Casino Will Be Adult-Only Property

When Las Vegas’ newest casino opens later this year, it will be the first Vegas property to enforce an adult-only policy.

The Circa Resort & Casino announced earlier this week on its Facebook page that it will only allow those 21 and older to enter the Downtown Las Vegas casino. The announcement came in the form of an advertisement that the property is beginning to take reservations for its December 2020 grand opening.

At all other Nevada casinos, the age restriction is reserved only for the gaming floor, not the entire property.

“Once Las Vegas held a certain mystique as his fabulous place where only grown-ups could play,” read the Facebook post. “Call us old-fashioned, but we think adults need some of that mystique back in their lives. Book your room starting June 24 at 9 a.m. for Circa Las Vegas, a 21+ experience.”

The property is owned by the Stevens brothers, Derek and Greg, who also own The D and Golden Gate Casinos in Downtown Las Vegas. The resort will be home to a 777-room hotel tower, six different pools, five restaurants and the longest outdoor bar all on the northwest corner of the Fremont Street Experience.

The casino’s biggest attraction will be its sportsbook, which will be three stories tall with two levels of stadium seating and have the “biggest screen in in sportsbook history.” It will overtake The Westgate Las Vegas as the world’s largest sportsbook.
