Red Devils on a Roll
The Red Devils rebounded well after settling for a 1-1 draw in their first-league matchup with their opponents from Belgium, extending their current undefeated streak across all competitions to seven matches. Man U. have slammed the door on opposing attackers during their current 5-2-0 run, outgunning opponents by a wide 18-1 margin during that stretch, a trend that has contributed to their improvement on the Europa League odds from +583 going into the Round of 32.
Anthony Martial for #mufc:
• 2-month injury in the first month of the season
• Lost his strike partner, Marcus Rashford, in January
• Only one game with a proper number 10 behind him..and still has 19 goal contributions in the equivalent of 25 games. pic.twitter.com/XGYX3GUXXa

The club has also made steady gains on the Premier League table during their current surge, climbing to fifth place, just three points back of Chelsea FC for a spot above the line, and a potential return to the UEFA Champions League next season. Injuries remain a concern for the Red Devils. No timetable is set for a return to action by Marcus Rashford, and now Anthony Martial looks set to join him on the sidelines. The club had to make do without midfielder Anthony Martial in Thursday’s win over Brugge after suffering a leg injury in training early this week.
While that may create issues for the club in a busy week ahead that features a highly anticipated Manchester Derby clash with Manchester City at Old Trafford, the Red Devils will enjoy the benefit of a favorable Round of 16 draw when they visit Austrian side LASK Linz as +122 favorites in their first-leg matchup at Linzer Stadium on March 12.
Inter Milan Facing Tougher Road
It may be a tougher road moving forward for Manchester United’s chief rivals in the march towards this season’s Europa League title. Inter Milan closely trails the Red Devils as +450 second favorites, but could have their hands full in their Round of 16 clash with Getafe.
The Wolverhampton Wolves sit at a short +600 after disposing of Spanish side Espanyol with a convincing 6-3 aggregate win, while perennial contenders Sevilla remain in the hunt at +700.
Inter took little time to slam the door on Ludogorets in their second-leg match, potting a pair of first-half goals to seal a 4-1 win on aggregate. The Nerazzurri have also remained in the hunt for the Serie A title, picking up points in 16 of 17 matches. However, Inter is likely to face a stiffer challenge from Getafe, who are coming off a Round of 32 victory over Ajax, and has remained in the hunt for a spot above the line in La Liga action.
Wolves’ Cinderella Run Can’t be Overlooked
The Wolves continued to turn heads in their return to European play for the first time in four decades. Wolverhampton continued the magnificent run through the Europa League that they started last summer in the second qualifying round, with a dominating 6-3 aggregate win over Espanyol, and face a very beatable opponent when they face off against Olympiakos in the first leg of their Round of 16 matchup as slender +179 underdogs.
Wolverhampton have a long way to go in their bid to make their first appearance in a European tournament final since finishing as runners up at the 1972 UEFA Cup. However, the club has turned in some steady performances against tough opponents this season. In addition to routing Espanyol 4-0 in their Round of 32 home date, the Wolves have also tallied a pair of wins over City in Premier League play, and played the Red Devils to a draw on two occasions. That makes them worthy of a value bet to continue their Cinderella run and claim their first-ever Europa League title.
Pick: Wolverhampton Wolves (+600)
