Former PokerStrategy coach wins bracelet live on Twitch

Robert ‘PokerGuru740’ Kuhns takes down the third online bracelet of 2020 and six-figures in front of Twitch fans in the US.

It’s never going to feel like a ‘real’ World Series of Poker this year but the online WSOP is going to pull up some interesting situations that its live counterpart would not.

We have seen the first, and perhaps not the last, bracelet won live on Twitch, for example.

Robert ‘PokerGuru740‘ Kuhns just defeated a field of 2,091 (including 641 re-entries) live on Twitch to take down the $400 No Limit bracelet at WSOP.com, for $115,850. He streamed to an audience of just under 1,300 but over 36,000 people have watched the clip below since:

If that name sounds familiar, he did some Zoom and MTT videos for us between 2013 and 2016.

It wasn’t just the bracelet win for Kuhns, he had quite the night as he also took down a second event for $21,204:

Four bracelet events are in the books at WSOP.com, another 27 remain between now and July 31. These tournaments are only available to residents of Nevada and New Jersey, however from July 16 players from the global poker market can play for bracelets at GGPoker across 54 events
