His second was memorable, evading four opposition players and nonchalantly stroking the ball in. Earthquakes coach Matias Almeyda was sent off five minutes before half-time for arguing with the officials. It’s going to take a minor miracle for the Earthquakes to get back into this one, even if they did have a strong penalty shout and a couple of chances.
