The 2020 WSOP.com Super Circuit Series features more than $1,240,000 in guaranteed prize money across its 18 events. Through just the first 12 events, already more than $2.3 million has been paid out during the series, which means that the guarantees have been exceeded by more than a million dollars with several of the largest events still yet to kick off.
Each and every event of the series has beaten its guarantee, with many more than tripling the guarantee. Recaps of events 1-3, events 4-6, and events 7-9 can be found here.
The series is available to any players of legal age within the physical state limits of New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware. A Full listing of tournaments being offered can be found on Card Player’s tournament database page.
Event 10 was a $30,000 guaranteed $250 buy-in no-limit hold’em freezeout. It kicked off at 4:00 p.m. PST on Monday, March 23. By the time registration came to a close, 473 players had bought into the event. As a result, the prize pool grew to $110,209, which was paid out among the top 99 finishers.
The biggest chunk of that money was ultimately awarded to Kyle ‘kdruck’ Draucker. The Las Vegas resident earned $27,001 and his second WSOPC gold ring for the win. He had secured his first piece of circuit hardware just five weeks earlier by taking down a $400 buy-in no-limit hold’em event at the WSOPC Rio Las Vegas series for $20,449.
Robert ‘Agamerob’ Gray took home $15,154 as the runner-up, while former poker television host and recent WSOPC online ring winner Lacey ‘ReySol’ Jones cashed for $9,258 as the third-place finisher.
Several other big names also made the final table, including Jack ‘oneeightyt’ Duong (6th – $4,849), WSOP bracelet winner Ari ‘philivey’ Engel (7th – $3,637), and WSOP main event commentator Jamie ‘danbilzerian’ Kerstetter (8th – $2,425). Notables who ran deep but failed to make the final nine include 2019 WSOP Circuit Planet Hollywood main event champion Michael ‘annie_r_u_ok’ Trivett (25th – $551) and Jonathan ‘Art.Vandelay’ Dokler (33rd – $408), who was making his sixth cash of the series. Dokler had won the previous event, the $525 buy-in ‘Monster Stack’ tournament, for $77,910. As it turns out, his cashing spree in this series was not yet finished. More on that below.

Next up on the agenda was the $500 buy-in ‘Big $500’ no-limit hold’em event. The tournament began at 4:00 p.m. PST on Mar. 24 and featured a $75,000 guarantee and triple re-entry. With 531 total entries, made up of 314 unique players and 217 re-entries, the prize pool grew to $247,977 (another more-than-tripling of a guarantee for the series).
Just 6 hours and 38 minutes after the tournament kicked off, Matt ‘RubberFist’ Stout emerged victorious with the title and the top payday of $63,234. This was Stout’s second title and fifth cash of the series. The win also earned Stout his fifth career gold ring. All but one of his victories in WSOPC events have come online. He has now cashed for $121,687 so far during this series.
2019 WSOP online bracelet event winner Yong Keun ‘LUCKYSPEWY1’ Kwon took third place for $21,326, while Matt ‘berkey11_s4y’ Berkey earned $16,366 as the fourth-place finisher. It was Berkey’s second final-table finish of the series.
Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Brett ‘furofakind’ Shaffer cashed for $8,679 as the seventh-place finisher. It was his fifth cash of the series thus far. 2019 WSOP Circuit Thunder Valler main event champion Thomas ‘tdkaces’ Kornechuk finished eighth for $5,703, just nine days after placing second in event 2 for $22,866.
Other big names who made deep runs in this event include Ian ‘apokerjoker2’ Steinman (14th – $2,976), Jack ‘oneeightyt’ Duong (17th – $2,232), Lauren ‘sycamore22’ Roberts (20th – $2,232), WSOP bracelet winner Ralph ‘sosana’ Perry (25th – $1,487), two-time bracelet winner Barry ‘metph’ Shulman (35th – $1,314) and Tony ‘Panoramic’ Dunst (36th – $1,239).

The 12th official ring event of the series was a $215 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament with double re-entry. The event featured a $50,000 guarantee, which was more than tripled when 844 total entries built a final prize pool of $168,800.
Nearly a quarter of that money ended up in the account of William ‘swaggyb’ Corvino. The New York native cashed for $40,512 as the champion of this event and earned his first WSOPC gold ring in the process. This was his third cash of the series. Chad ‘clayne’ Layne took home $21,437 as the runner-up.
2019 WSOP $600 ‘Deepstack’ event runner-up Dan ‘NoLimitNomad’ Kuntzman finished eighth for $5,401. Other notable in-the-money finishers include Vinny Pahuja (21st – $844), high-stakes tournament regular Chris Hunichen (22nd – $844), Eric Blair (24th – $844), two-time bracelet winner and three-time World Poker Tour champion Anthony Zinno (27th – $675), former WPT Championship winner Joe Bartholdi (29th – $675).
Jonathan ‘Art.vandelay’ Dokler made his seventh cash of the series, placing 30th for $675. He has accumulated $124,200 in total cashes since Mar. 17. Card Player publisher and 2009 WSOP Europe main event champion Barry Shulman made his fourth cash of the series, finishing 36th for $506.
