Colts Big Faves Despite Bad Loss
Despite taking a bad loss Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts are the biggest Week 17 favorites as 13.5-point home choices over the hapless Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Colts (10-5) dropped a 28-24 decision to the Steelers in Pittsburgh as one-point favorites Sunday. Indianapolis led 24-7 in the third quarter before the Steelers rallied with three straight touchdowns.

Indianapolis lost despite holding a 206-28 advantage in total yards at halftime.
The Jaguars (1-14) set a team record with its 14th straight loss, falling 41-17 at home to the Chicago Bears as 9.5-point underdogs.
The good news for Jacksonville, though, is they are assured of the first pick in next year’s NFL Draft. The Jaguars will likely select Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence would be a welcome addition, considering QB Mike Glennon was intercepted twice by the Bears.
The Jaguars’ lone win this season came over Indianapolis 27-20 in Week 1 at home.
Big Game, Small Line
The smallest line is the one point by which the visiting Dallas Cowboys (6-9) are favored over the New York Giants (5-10). It is a game that could decide the NFC East title even though both teams have losing records.
The Cowboys kept their division championship hopes alive and increased their winning streak to three games with a 37-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at home. Andy Dalton threw for 377 yards and three touchdowns, two to Michael Gallup, for Dallas, which was a three-point underdog.

The Cowboys can win the division if they beat the Giants in Week 17 and the Washington Football Team (6-9) loses to the Eagles (4-10-1) in Philadelphia.
The Giants would finish first if they beat the Cowboys and Washington loses.
On Sunday, the Giants lost to the Ravens 27-13 in Baltimore as 10-points dogs. Quarterback Daniel Jones was sacked six times and New York’s offense has scored just two touchdowns during a three-game losing streak.

Overs and Unders
The highest total is 51 points for the Las Vegas Raiders-Broncos game in Denver, featuring two teams who have been eliminated from playoff contention. Both lost in Week 16, the Raiders at home to the Miami Dolphins 26-25 and the Broncos to the Chargers 19-16 in Los Angeles.
The lowest total is 43.5 points between the Ravens and Bengals in Cincinnati, a game Baltimore needs to win to make the playoffs. While Baltimore was beating the Giants on Sunday, the Bengals rallied for a 37-31 victory over the Houston Texans for their first road win in more than two years.
Movement on the Line
The Cleveland Browns are seven-point favorites over the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers and the rationale is obvious. The Browns (10-5) need to win to reach the postseason for the first time since 2002, while the Steelers (11-4) clinched the AFC North title Sunday.
However, the line still seems a little high considering the Steelers thumped the Browns 38-7 in Week 6 in Pittsburgh.
The 5.5 points in which the New England Patriots (6-8) are favored over the New York Jets (2-13) seems a little light.
Yes, the Patriots will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2008 and the Jets have won two games in a row. However, it’s still the Patriots against the Jets. It seems weird New England isn’t favored by at least seven.
