Stamp Your Feet regained the winning thread over fences at Roscommon in July, doing well considering how far back he came from to get up in the dying strides, and though he wasn’t in the same form at Kilbeggan last time, he did not enjoy a clear passage through and was undoubtedly not seen to best effect on that occasion. He looks to be on a good mark now reverted to hurdling and tops the shortlist.
Galvin has made a textbook start to the campaign, following up his reappearance victory with success over the same course and distance in August, winning with plenty in hand on both occasions. His overall profile is that of a progressive young chaser and this looks a good opportunity for him to gain his first win at pattern level.

He shaped as though in need of the run when again finding just one too good at Galway on his return last month, a race that has already yielded a subsequent winner, and with further improvement expected, he gets the vote to belatedly open his account over fences.
