Toffees to make it a magnificent seven

Bet 1: Back Everton @ 5/6 – KO 15:00 BST

It has been six of the best for Everton and Carlo Ancelotti so far this season, as they have won all three of their Premier League games and all three of their Carabao Cup ties.

Today they host Brighton, and despite the Seagulls also making a promising start, I am surprised that the Toffees aren’t a little shorter in the betting.

The only big negative for Everton is that Allan and Andre Gomes picked up minor injuries during the week, so Fabian Delph and Gylfi Sigurdsson will likely start.

Despite that, I still believe that Ancelotti’s side will prove too strong here, and while Brighton were unlucky against United last weekend, this should be a tougher game.

Dan Fitch is also sweet on the Toffees’ chances.

City to drop more points

Bet 2: Back The Draw in Leeds v Man City @ 9/2 – KO 17:30 BST

Leeds have already run Liverpool extremely close this year, and I can see them going one better against Manchester City at Elland Road.

Since that 4-3 at Anfield, Marcelo Bielsa’s men have beaten Fulham by the same scoreline, and then produced a much better defensive display in a 1-0 success at Bramall Lane.

Man City were humiliated by Leicester at the Etihad last Sunday, as Jamie Vardy ran them ragged, scoring three goals in a 5-2 win.

Pep Guardiola reacted by going out and spending big money on Ruben Dias, and he could make his debut alongside Aymeric Laporte this evening.

If Leeds can produce their best, they are more than capable of earning a point here.

Don’t rule out goals at St James’ Park

Bet 3: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Newcastle v Burnley @ 7/5 – KO 20:00 BST

Goals aren’t expected at St James’ Park tonight, but Newcastle only have one fit centre half, and both teams have some decent attacking options.

Given the circumstances of the game, it’s also a match that both managers will believe that they can win. I very much doubt that Sean Dyche will send his team to the North-East to park the bus, given the injuries to Newcastle’s defence, and Steve Bruce will view Burnley at home as a very winnable fixture.

The Clarets scored twice in a 4-2 defeat at Leicester in their only away game of the season so far, while Newcastle conceded three times in their only home outing.
