The Iowa State vs Oklahoma State odds will be worth monitoring this week. Both teams are playing great football and the betting public will be interested in getting in on the action. Here’s a break down of both programs as well as a projection when it comes to potential line movement.
Cyclones Aiming for 4th Straight Victory
Running back Breece Hall has been absolutely exceptional for Iowa State so far this season. He has tallied 531 rushing yards which ranks 3rd in college football, and has added eight touchdowns which is tied for 2nd.
Hall was a true freshman last year and performed well enough to help Cyclones fans forget about star running back David Montgomery who graduated to the NFL. This year he has taken another big step forward. It’s rare that Oklahoma State plays in a game where the opponent can match its prowess on the ground but this may be the exception.

Iowa State isn’t one dimensional either thanks to quarterback Brock Purdy. He has 912 yards passing and four touchdowns in the team’s first four games of the year. The numbers may not be eye popping but he’s very capable of taking charge of the offense.
Both Purdy and Hall have been key in the Cyclones three straight victories over TCU, Oklahoma and Texas Tech.
Dynamic Duo Has Cowboys In Contention
Running back Chuba Hubbard and wide receiver Tylan Wallace have been one of the best dynamic duo’s in all of college football.
Let’s start with Hubbard. He surprised some with his decision to return to Oklahoma State for one more season and boy are they happy he did.
Hubbard has run for 339 yards and four touchdowns so far this season. This numbers are impressive but his value extends beyond the numbers he adds to the box score.

Wallace has benefitted from opponents obsession with stopping the elusive Hubbard. They overload the box and do their best to keep numbers down, freeing up Wallace on the outside. He has led the team in receiving yards in all three games, totalling 325 yards and two touchdowns.
He isn’t just racking up dink-and-dunk passes either. Wallace has amassed those number on 19 receptions, giving him an eye popping 17.1 yards per catch. The Cowboys are coming off a bye after their game against Baylor was postponed, so expect both Hubbard and Wallace to come in rested and ready to go.
The public loves to wager on matches with two ranked teams and they tend to side with the favorites. Take advantage by either betting on Oklahoma State early or waiting until closer to kickoff to place your bet on Iowa State.
