For over 60 percent of the season, the NC Dinos have been the appropriate choice for bettors on the money line. They’ve held the top spot in the KBO for months, too.
But there might be some cracks in the armor, as evidenced by their record the past 30 games: 13-17 (.433), a winning rate that would keep them out of the playoffs over the full season.
On Friday, the Dinos remain strong moneyline favorites against the LG Twins. Should they be?
Here’s a look at the entire slate of KBO games for Friday, Sept. 4. All games start at 5:30 am ET (2:30 am PT).

Twins Have Worthwhile Value
The LG Twins pulled off a dramatic 6-5 win over the NC Dinos on Thursday, scoring three runs in the eighth inning to complete the upset. NC outhit LG, 16-9.
That type of win for LG might seem a bit fluky, but consider this: the Twins are 5-2-1 against the Dinos this season after Thursday’s win. That’s significant, because no other team has a winning record against the Dinos.
And here the Twins are as an intriguing value on the moneyline. The pitching matchup is certainly in the Dinos’ favor (NC’s Drew Rucinski is 13-3 with a 3.18 ERA this year; LG’s Kim Yun-Sik is 1-2 with a 6.15 ERA) but the Twins are hot right now — 5-0-1 in their past six.
The value supports the Twins and you should, too.
Pick: LG Twins (+215)
Beware SK’s Tailspin
The SK Wyverns have lost six of seven — and eight of ten — including Thursday’s 6-2 loss to KT Wiz Suwon.
This isn’t one to overthink. Suwon has taken seven of nine against the Wyverns and is a much better team right now.
KT is top-four in the KBO in both batting average (.283) and ERA (4.68), while SK is bottom-two in both categories (.253, 5.63).
Pick: KT Wiz Suwon (-225)
Boom or Bust Scoring
The Doosan Bears and Samsung Lions had a slugfest on Thursday that ended 11-10 in Samsung’s favor. It was the fifth time this season in which these teams have produced 13-plus runs in a game.
But they’ve also have five meetings that ended in run totals of seven or fewer. It’s a very boom-or-bust situation.
In that context, Friday appears destined for a bust. Samsung starter David Buchanan is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA against Doosan, while Doosan starter Yu Hui-Kwan is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA against Samsung.

Samsung took the first game of the series, but it should be another close one on Friday. Give the Lions some runline cushion.
Pick: Samsung Lions +1.5 (-138); Under 11.5 (-128)
